Before his venture into finance, Zandi’s entrepreneurial career was rooted in technology. In 2013, he co-founded a business messaging platform that was ahead of its time. Long before platforms like Facebook Messenger for Business or Slack rose to prominence, Zandi’s company carved out a niche in the communications sector. Within just two years, the company was acquired, positioning Zandi as a trendspotter and operator who could execute bold ideas effectively.

After the acquisition, Zandi grew disillusioned with traditional investing methods. While stocks, bonds, and the classic 60/40 portfolio strategy were conventional approaches, he recognized the financial world was evolving. He realized that market volatility wasn’t just a challenge to avoid, it was a tangible factor that could be integrated into an investment strategy with the right tools and approach.

This realization inspired Zandi to create CI Volatility, a fund designed not to trade stocks or bonds, but to profit from the complexities of volatility itself.

Suganthan Vishnu Krisnarajah (Kris) is a seasoned fintech entrepreneur and financial executive with deep expertise in payment processing, transaction optimization, and financial operations.

As Founder and Chairman of AptPay Inc., a Toronto-based global fintech platform specializing in instant domestic and cross-border disbursements, Kris has driven innovation in high-speed, secure payment solutions for enterprises, governments, and financial institutions. Under his leadership, AptPay established strategic partnerships, including with Mastercard, and pioneered real-time payout capabilities—such as the industry’s first instant casino winnings disbursements to bank accounts and prepaid cards—addressing critical inefficiencies in fraud management, reconciliation, and cash displacement.

As President and former Chief Financial Officer, where he continues to drive financial strategy, risk management, and scalable growth within a highly regulated payments ecosystem. His earlier founding of a successful check processing company gave him firsthand insight into commercial disbursement challenges, shaping his data-driven approach to automating financial workflows and optimizing transaction efficiency

With over a decade optimizing payment systems and financial technologies, Kris brings valuable insights into fintech disruption, transaction risk, and digital financial infrastructure to advisory roles in investment and hedge fund strategies.

Paul Skinner is a seasoned industry professional with over two decades of experience in financial services, specializing in fund administration, audit, and regulatory matters. He brings extensive knowledge, deep understanding of the financial landscape, leadership experience, and a true passion for supporting clients and building relationships.

Prior to assuming his current role with Channel Capital Group, Paul held the position of Global Head of Fund of Hedge Funds at MUFG Investor Services, formerly UBS Fund Services, a leading fund administration firm with $1 trillion in AUA. There, he oversaw the Fund of Hedge Fund business line, managing a portfolio of over 400 funds across 80 relationships and leading a team of over 240 employees across the globe. He was also integral in product development, policies and procedures, staffing, and relationship management with many of the top 10 managers in the industry. Prior to his tenure at MUFG, Paul worked with BNY Mellon Fund Administration in the Cayman Islands and spent three years in audit and business advisory services with Deloitte in Canada.

Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and later qualified as a Canadian Chartered Accountant. He also holds an Accredited Director designation from the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada. Paul is a citizen and permanent resident of the Cayman Islands, residing there since 2005.
